Our farmers are at the heart of everything we do. Our outreach programme ensures that they have the skills to make the most of their goats. They get a fair price for the goats that they sell, and we make sure that they retain the right goats to ensure milk for their families and even better sales in the future.

Looking to the future

We are proud of our goats. But we know that what is possible at present is not the final word. We are keen to develop new breeds that are more closely matched to the needs of the farmers and the conditions in Uganda. To achieve that, we need partners - NGOs, commercial breeders and associations of smallholder-farmers; people who are committed to developing the goat industry in Uganda as well as ensuring their own future prosperity. How we started

Kabulya Goat Trading is part of JOY Goat Development Programme Uganda, which is a department of Deliverance Church Uganda. All the income from the sale of goats is used to support our outreach programme to help rural smallholders to improve their livelihoods.
